Honda recently celebrated 33 suppliers for their exceptional performance in providing indirect products and services to its North American operations.

General Motors (GM) is on track to power 100% of its U.S. facilities with renewable electricity by the end of 2025, increasing coverage from 59% in 2023 to 77% in 2024. As part of this effort, GM helped launched Transform: Auto, a new initiative led by Trio and Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SPE) which aims to help suppliers transition to renewable energy and supporting a zero-emissions future.
Trio recently worked with Recurrent Energy and Qualcomm to facilitate the signing of a Power Purchase agreement (PPA), which will supply 50GWh of renewable energy annually. The collaboration aims to support Qualcomm's decarbonization goals while fostering socio-economic development in the region through job creation and environmental benefits. This initiative is expected to create over 300 jobs during the construction phase and will prevent the release of 8,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
